As some of you may know, PayPal sometimes keeps payment on hold if they think the recipient’s account is suspicious. They claim that this is for the sender’s safety, but as the sender, we never asked for such process. We always want you to get the money as soon as possible.
Recently there were three new performers who got their money held by PayPal again. We sent the payment and the status of the transaction shown on our screen is “completed”. We were never informed by PayPal that they kept the money on hold, until the performers sent us email and asked us what happened.
So I went to PayPal website, left them a message, asking them why they didn’t inform us, why they didn’t tell you what happened exactly and how to resolve the problem, and demanding them to release the money immediately. Here is their reply:
Okay. You can’t remove that process even when we asked. That’s fine. There is a place we both can mark the order. Where is it?
Very detailed. Good! Why didn’t we know that there is such a thing? Did PayPal tell the recipients about that in emails?
Now it sounds ridiculous. We sent the money and PayPal told us it was completed, but the recipients couldn’t get the money. “We don’t need to worry about it” ??? We worry about it!!! Because the recipients actually came to us and ask what happened!!! Why should we be blamed for PayPal’s decision?????
And you don’t know the exact reasons? Are you kidding me? Can’t you just find the guy responsible and ask?
And you know what? The most unreasonable thing is, they keep asking us to tell the recipients to contact local PayPal, but when our recipients login to PayPal, they see this:
“… you’ll need to contact the sender directly to resolve your issue”
PayPal fxxking asks you to contact us!? For something that we didn’t even know about?
