Seems like you have misunderstood something.

Magicians do magic tricks, but they talk at the same time as well.

The talk diverts the attention of the audience!

It is part of the performance.

Performers have to talk. It is also part of the performance.

To put viewers’ focus on the talk and hence make the call longer.

That means no matter what you are performing in the call, dancing, singing, playing magic, etc, you can always throw some little chat to your viewers!!!

And if they show their…, you have 2 ways to deal with it:

1. Politely say you are busy and cut the call

2. Keep the call going. Cover the screen (not the camera) if you don’t want to see it. Keep looking at the camera and show your face.

Always remember:

– You are the performer. You shouldn’t hide. You should always try to talk to them.

– Viewers are customers. They can choose whether showing their face and talking or not.
