Many should know that we use Transferwise to send money overseas from Japan. Recently they are taking longer time to send money. Why we tried to contact them, they either ignored our email (or replied one to two days later), or simply say “we are trying to contact the person in charge”.
What the heck? What is wrong with them?
Please, for god’s sake, give us an explanation.
Then I googled the reviews of Transferwise and I saw these comments:
Why are we still using Transferwise if they are not good?
Yes, their service is not really satisfying. But the thing is:
We don’t have much choice.
We are a company from Japan.
And Japan, unlike the “cool” image it is promoting to other countries, is very conservative.
I am not using the word “selfish” or “stingy”.
Their government doesn’t like money flowed from their countries to overseas.
They have many restrictions for people to send money to foreign countries from Japan.
That’s why we don’t have much choice.
That’s why we are still using Transferwise.
At lease the money goes directly to the recipients’ bank accounts and the fee they charge is relatively low compared to other service.
But they are really fxxking slow!!
