When I go to see an action movie, of course I am there for the action scene. Usually there is a small fight in the beginning, but the most exciting and thrilling fight is always near the end.
Why?
So that I will keep sitting there and focusing, waiting for the big action to come,
for 2 hours.
This is a common practice for any movie. The climax always comes near the end.
Think about this. If the most exciting fight happens in the beginning of the movie, what will happen? Viewers will start to feel bored as the movie continues, and eventually leave before the ending.
Of course when watching a movie, you pay for the ticket before the movie starts. Even if you stop watching it in the middle, the movie company still gets their money.
But what if you were paying them for every minute?
When you feel that you have nothing to expect for the rest of the show, of course you will want to leave and stop wasting your money.
Especially if the movie tells you clearly that, “No. We having nothing better the the first scene in the rest of the movie.”
Won’t you leave?
That’s why we ask you not to reject the viewers directly.
