According to the International Labour Organization (ILO), 3.3 billion people have had their workplace fully or partly closed in April.
3.3 billion, that’s 81% of the global workforce.
That means four out of five people’s jobs are affected.
A total of 43.2% of people in the Americas and 42.1% in Europe and Central Asia work in high-risk sectors which are retail, manufacturing, accommodation and food.
