Sometimes when we video call performers as a customer, we notice many of you like to ask questions in video calls

💁♀️”What is your job?”
…
Are you having an interview?🧐
“But I really want to ask those questions!”😖
Okay. Fine. But there are techniques that you can turn the interview into a more enjoyable chat!😼
For example,
You: How old are you?💁♀️
Viewer: 30👨💼
You: Okay😐
…
What happens next? An awkward silence. The whole conversation lasted less than 5 seconds and there is no fun at all!😱
Technique 1: Compliment🥰
Now take a look at this:
You: How old are you?💁♀️
Viewer: 30👨💼
You: Really? But you don’t look like 30!🥰
Viewer: Haha thank you!🤪
You: I am telling the truth! I have a friend that is 30 as well but he looks older than you! Do you work out a lot?😝
Viewer: Sometimes😉
You: Where? At home? Can you show me?😍
See? This can last more than 30 seconds or even 1 minute. (Only from the question “How old are you?”)
The key is to compliment him after hearing his answer. Don’t just say “good”. Be specific and give example.
Technique 2: Make him ask the same question🧐
You: How old are you?💁♀️
Viewer: 30👨💼
You: Really? But you don’t look like 30!🥰
Viewer: Haha thank you!🤪
You: How old do you think I am?😼
Viewer: 21?🤔
You: Thank you! But it’s too young! Guess again🤗
Viewer: 25?🤔
You: Close!🤗
Viewer: 26?😳
You: Yes! You thought I was 5 years younger? I also thought you were 25 haha!😜
See? You can play the guessing game with the viewer. This can also make the conversation last 5 times longer!
The key is to make him ask the same question. You can say “Do you want to know…?”. Or you can just ask him to guess!
Combine technique 1&2, the “How old are you” question only can last more than 1 minute! Then you can ask more questions and repeat the same technique, or share your story and keep the call going longer and longer!😌
